In a recent conversation with one of our most valuable customers of the last 20 years, Mr M was remarked that he was astounded that his V70 D5 estate, which he purchased last year,  regularly returns up to 50 miles to the gallon!

Mr M was so impressed he insisted we tell our other customers because, until he'd bought his D5, he says he would never have believed a big Volvo estate could be so incredibly economical.....Mr M is now the proud owner of a V70 D5 estate AND an S60 D5 saloon.

As a footnote, Mr P of York recently returned from a canoeing trip to Wales and was so amazed at his MPG he just had to ring me!  Fully laden, with four adults and all their canoe equipment, they averaged 52mpg from their V70 D5 SE!  Mr P moved up from his 850 TDi diesel a few months ago and has loved everything about his D5.
