Q. I live a long way away. I'd like to look at your cars but the distance puts me off. Can you help?
A. We do our best to put accurate, honest descriptions with all our cars along with lots of photographs. There isn't, however, any substitute for seeing a car in the flesh. We offer a number of options including bringing a car to you (depending upon distance), sending a video of the vehicle and we offer a money back guarantee if you buy a car unseen and are disappointed or we have mis-described a vehicle in any way.
Q. How do I pay for a car when I live a long way away?
A. We don't expect you to pay the full amount for a car before you've even seen it! We ask for a sensible deposit of between £200 and £500 depending upon the car, price etc which can be taken over the telephone with a bankers card. You can then pay the balance by debit card when you have seen the car and established that you're happy.
Q. How do I get to you? You're not in a major city.
A. We regularly collect customers from either York or Malton railway station and can even collect you from our local airport (Leeds/Bradford).
Q. I've looked at cars that dealers have described as 'immaculate' and have been disappointed when I see them in the flesh. How do I know you aren't the same?
A. Look at our feedback pages, customers are invariably delighted at the standard of cars we sell and the way we prepared them. If you're not satisfied, however, we will refund any deposit paid - we only ask that you clarify any essential points before travelling.
Q. We would like to buy a car but we have a part-exchange. If we travel a long distance you may not offer us a good enough price on our car and we'll waste time and money travelling. Can you help?
A. This is a tricky situation but we do our best! If you give us an accurate description of a car we will try and provide an estimate of its minimum and maximum value. We will be honest and fair.
Q. If I buy a car from you the warranty won't be worth anything because I have to bring the car back to you don't I?
A. Most of our cars, apart from the less expensive ones, come with a full years comprehensive parts and labour warranty which can be used at any vat registered garage*. Your warranty cover even gives you a free phone number to contact your local appointed agent. *terms and conditions apply
